Obituary

Florence E. (Taylor) Keller of Weymouth June 9, 2008. Passed away at home after a 6 month battle with cancer at the age of 78, Beloved wife of John E. Keller. Beloved mother of ShirleyAnn Keller Thomas of Bushnell Florida, Janice Knowles of N. Attleboro and Kenneth J. Keller of Weymouth. Beloved Sister of Thomas Taylor of Carver, Helen Vincent of Hazlet NJ, Grace E. Dolan of Abington, George Taylor of Lakeland, Florida and the late Margret “Polly” Daley. Loving Grandmother of Jeffrey Knowles, Jacob Knowles, Adam Keller, Timothy Keller, and Christopher Donahue and Many loving nieces and nephews. She was a very devoted daughter to her late parents Willard Harrison and Grace L (Leathers) Taylor. She lived in Duxbury for the first 18 years of her life and graduated Duxbury High School, she lived in Quincy for a year and moved to Weymouth and lived there for the last 60 years She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother and wife, she and her husband John were married for 57 years, She worked at one time for the Stetson Shoe Factory, Allston Studios, and more recently for the Marge Crispin Center for over 17 years retiring in 2003 A Funeral Service will be held on Friday June 13 at 10 A.M. at the C.C. Shepherd Funeral Home 134 Pleasant Street (Columbian Square) South Weymouth. Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Relatives and Friends Invited. Burial will be at the Blue Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Florence’s name may be made to the Marge Crispin Center, 74 Pond St. Braintree Ma. 02184 or to Hospice of the South Shore, 100 Bay State Drive Braintree Ma. 02184.
