Mr. Rollin C. Ingersoll, Jr., 70, of 610 Champlain Street in Berlin, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 7, 2008 surrounded by his family. He was born in Lancaster, NH on July 5, 1937 the son of Rollin C. and Henrietta (Fabisak) Ingersoll and moved from Lancaster to Berlin at the age of two. Mr. Ingersoll was a member of the UCC Congregational Church in Berlin and a member of the NRA. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and also enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing.
Members of his family include his wife Frances J. (Devoid) Ingersoll of Berlin; a daughter Kim Hartson and her husband Kevin of Waterford, VT; a son Edward Ingersoll and his wife Kimberly of North Conway; three grandchildren Becky Lynn Hartson, Melissa Rae Hartson and Hunter Rollin Ingersoll; one brother Paul Ingersoll of Berlin; many nieces, nephews, cousins including John Ramey of Boston, MA and one uncle Warren Johnson .
A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday June 11, 2008 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue in Berlin. Interment will be in the Russian City Cemetery in Berlin. There will be no calling hours.
Memorial donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Diabetes Foundation.
