Betty Faye Gordon Turner, age 59, died Saturday, June 7, 2008 at home in Water Valley, MS. She was born June 20, 1948 in Panola County to Robert Gordon and Mary Alice Gordon York. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Water Valley Church of Christ.
A visitation will be held Sunday, June 8, 2008 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. The service will be held in the Henry Chapel at Seven Oaks Funeral Home of Water Valley at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 9, 2008 with Bro. David Floyd and Bro. Robert Rawson officiating. Internment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Pope, MS.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Clinton R. Turner of Water Valley, MS; two daughters, Crystal Hale and Beth Godwin, both of Water Valley, MS; her mother, Mary Alice York of Batesville; a sister, Kathy Brewer of Batesville, MS; a brother, Jim Gordon of Pope, MS; and one grandson, Clayton Hale.
