Larry A. Edelstein, a lifelong resident of Chelsea, died on June 3rd, 2008 at age 64. Larry was the loving son of Jean (Dubinsky) and the late Nathan Edelstein.
Larry attended the Chelsea schools and graduated Chelsea High School, Class of 1964. He was an inventory specialist for the General Electric Company of Lynn, MA where he worked for twenty years before retiring in 2002. Larry was well known to many in Chelsea and was a lifelong member of the Cary Square Club of Chelsea, MA.
Larry was the loving brother of Jackie and his wife Mary Ann of East Boston and Candy Winam of Chelsea. He was the dear uncle of Chad and Meg Winam of Winthrop and Jeremy Winam of Chelsea. He was also the dear nephew of Louis Dube and his wife Geraldine of Chelsea.
Services at the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave. (Cary Sq.) Chelsea on Thursday, June 5th at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Everett. Rabbi Nochum Cywiak will officiate. Contibutions in Larry’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 9 Riverside Road, Weston, MA 02493.
