Irene J. "Wanee" Keleher, 92, a lifelong resident of Lawrence, MA. passed away on Monday, June 2, 2008, at the Lawrence General Hospital.
Born in Lawrence, Irene was a graduate of both St. Mary's Grammar and High Schools. She had worked at H.K. Webster for some 38 years. Irene was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Church. She was a member of the Friend's of St. Mary's as well as a member of the St. Mary's Alumni Association for which she had been the Treasurer. A generous person, Irene gave to many charities.

Nephews: Joseph Tardie of Raymond, NH, James Keleher of Methuen, MA, Daniel Keleher of Salem, NH, Louis Tardie of Scituate, MA, Edward Keleher of Methuen, MA, Charles Carroll of Groveland, MA, James Keleher of Andover, MA, as well as Brian Keleher and Joseph Carroll both of Methuen, MA.
She is also survived by her cousin Helen Dobek of Methuen, MA. and several grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 10:00 A.M in St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, also in Lawrence.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, June 5, 2008 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA.
