Cape Elizabeth, Maine – James F. Taft, 62, died May 30, 2008 at the Maine Medical Center.
Mr. Taft was born in Haverhill, Ma. son of Francis and Anna (DuBois) Taft. He was a graduate of the Haverhill Trade school with the Class of 1964.
For many years he had been employed as a Salesman with Goodman and Son’s Paper Recycling Company in Scarborough, Maine. He was an avid golfer and sports fan and was a member of the Andover and Salem Country Club.
Mr. Taft is survived by sons, Jeffrey of Arlington, Virginia and Gene and his wife Molly Click of Maryland, his mother Anna Taft of Haverhill, a sister Ann Phyllis Taft of Arlington, Vermont brother Robert Taft of Haverhill, Ma. and granddaughter Anna Taft of Maryland and devoted companion Judith Marotta of Cape Elizabeth and North Andover as well as niece Jill Brown and nephew Patrick Taft.
