LOUISA V. (STOKINGER) FLYNN, 89, A Scituate resident for almost 60 years, died on Sunday, June 1st at her home. Mrs. Flynn was born in South Boston where she spent her early life. She was a homemaker who raised 4 daughters; and for many years, was a Girl Scout leader in Scituate.
She was the wife of the late Joseph F. Flynn and mother of; Louise Hammill and her husband Jack of Jupiter, FL, Ann F. Schwarten of Scituate, Connie Fabrizio and her husband Tom of Lynn and Jeanette Rubin and her husband Ken of Delray Beach, FL. Sister of Gertrude Keefe of Quincy. Grandmother of John Hammill, Jr. of New York, Lisa Hammill and Joseph Hammill both of Jupiter, FL, Stephanie Schwarten of Seattle, WA, Tyson Schwarten of San Francisco, Jordan Ward of Novato, CA, Scott Fabrizio and his wife Silvia of Hingham, Cindi Sylvain and her husband Sean of Lowell, Lauren Rubin and Brian Rubin both of Delray Beach, FL. Great grandmother of Thomas, James, Andrew and Tommy. Also survived by her sister-in-law Connie Stokinger of Quincy and her dear friend Grace Manoogian of Cambridge.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 9th at 11 AM at St. Mary's of the Nativity, One Kent St., Scituate. Visiting hours and flowers omitted by request.
