Esther B. Anisewski, 94, of West Bay Manor, died Sunday, June 1, 2008 at Kent County Hospitalin Warwick. She was the wife of the late John F. Anisewski.
Born in Coventry, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Appolonia (Podgurski) Nietupski. She lived in Greenville for 49 years before moving to Warwick.
Mrs. Anisewski was a Purchasing Agent for the former St. Aloysisus Home in Greenville until retiring and previously was the owner for 38 years along with her husband of the former Holiday Pastry Shop in Greenville.
She is survived by her daughters, Janet Palmer of Port Charlotte,Florida and Carol A. Corwin of Cranston,three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two sisters, Ann Siembab of West Greenwich and Alice Souza of Coventry. She was the sister of the late Stanis Baranowski, Josephine Nadeau and Frank Nietupski.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, RI. Mass of Christian Burial at 9am in St. Adalbert’s Church, 866 Atwells Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Visitation Tuesday 5-8 pm in the Anderson-Winfield Home.
