Jane (Beard) Maxson, 79, of Alliance Way, Manchester, NH died Tuesday March 4, 2003 at the Laurel Center, Bedford, following a brief illness. She was born in Cortland, NY on December 14, 1923, a daughter of the late Robert W. and Ruth E. (Howe) Beard. She was a resident of Manchester since May 2001, formerly residing in New Jersey. She was a friend of the First Congregational Church of Manchester. She was an active member of the Hillcrest Terrace Retirement Community, Manchester. Mrs. Maxson was predeceased by her husband John S. Maxson Jr. in 1998
She is survived by on son, John S. Maxson III, Columbus, OH, one daughter, Martha Alexander, Hampstead, NH, four grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Friday March 7th at 7:00pm at the Hillcrest Terrace Retirement Community, 200 Alliance Way, Manchester. Private burial will be held in Cortland, NY at a later date.
