Kathryn V. Kosydar, formerly of Olyphant, died Saturday afternoon in Allied Skilled Nursing. She was the widow of Edward Kosydar, who died in 1987.
Born in Olyphant, daughter of the late George and Helen Wiktor, she was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Olyphant, and retired from Sudan Modes, where she was a seamstress.
Surviving are a son, Walter and wife, Carol; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Gerald; three brothers, Jan, Stanley and Edward; and five sisters, Ann, Mildred, Julia, Mary and Helen.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 129 Grant St., Olyphant, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in St. Michael the Archangel Church, to be celebrated by the Rev. Thomas Muldowney. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, Blakely.
