Joseph A. Murphy, age 82 of Windham, NH died Monday at his home. He was born in Lawrence, MA where he grew up and attended school, graduating from Lawrence High School.
He served in the US army during World War II and was stationed in Italy. Mr. Murphy was a foreman on the Lawrence Water Department where he worked over 30 years and retired at age 62. He was a member of St. Matthew Church in Windham, NH.
Survivors include: his wife Ethel Murphy of Windham, NH
Son: Joseph A. Murphy Jr. and his wife Michele of Windham, NH
Daughter: Janemarie and her husband Gene Murray of Worcester, MA
3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews

There are no calling hours. A Funeral Mass will be Saturday at 10AM at St. Matthew Church in Windham.
