Obituary

Fall River, Roberto Torres, a Taunton resident for over twenty years died
Sunday, May 25, 2008 at Hope House Hospice in Fall River after a lengthy
illness surrounded by his family, friends, and caregivers. He was fifty
six years old. He was born in Ponce Puerto Rico. Son of the late Damien
Torres and Maria (Colon) Torres. Mr. Torres at the time of his death was
on disability for many years. He leaves his longtime companion Damaris
Camacho of Fall River. He attended the Christian Missionary Church in
Taunton. He enjoyed listening to music and playing bongos. He leaves
five children Gladys Torres and Roberto Torres of Fall River, Enid
Torres, Sonia Torres, Steven Torres of Puerto Rico. He also leaves three
sisters Vilma Ayala of Taunton, Luz Torres and Elizabeth Torres of Fall
River. He leaves three brothers Jose Torres of Taunton, Hector Torres of
Fall River, and Miguel Torres of Atlanta Georgia. He also leaves five
grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. His Funeral will be held on
Thursday at 11:30am at the Taunton Funeral Home 8 Crapo Street (off
Tremont St.) relatives and friends invited to attend. Visiting Hours
will be held on Wednesday from 5-8pm. Burial at Mayflower Hill
Cemetery. Donations in his name may be made to the Hope House Hospice
306 Osborne St Fall River, Ma 02720. Arrangements made by the Taunton
