Genevieve E. O’Hehir, 92, passed away at the Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center in Medford on May 25th, 2008. She was born in Boston on March 4th, 1916 to her parents John and Agnes (Botwina) Songailo. Genevieve was raised in Charlestown and is a graduate of the St. Francis DeSales School. She has been a resident of Medford for most of her life . Genevieve was a homemaker who enjoyed the company of her family. She has been a parishioner at Immaculate Conception Parish in Malden for many years. She is survived by her children, Patricia Angelo and her husband Mario of Burlington, Genevieve Morash and her Husband Kenneth of Chelmsford and Lucille O’Hehir of Medford; her grandchildren, Robert, James and David Angelo and Nicholas and Noreen Morash; and by her great grandchildren, Kyle, Cara, Jack, Anthony, Emma and Grace Angelo. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Genevieve was predeceased by her husband Martin M. O’Hehir; and by her siblings, Louise Arigo, Katherine Michalski and Mitchell, Leona and William Songailo. Relatives & friends are invited to attend funeral services from the A.J. Breslin & Son Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden at Medford line on Saturday May 31st at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 9 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Burlington. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday May 30th from 4-8 PM.
