Obituary

DRACUT - Laurette A. (Allard) (St. Marie) Tremblay, 80, a resident of Dracut, died Monday May 26th, at Sunbridge Care Center at Glenwood in Lowell. She was the wife of Leo E. Tremblay of Dracut and the late Normand St. Marie.

She was born in Lowell on October 4, 1927 and she was the daughter of the late Francis and Yvonne (Rheault) Allard. She received her education in Lowell schools.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Tremblay was employed in the shipping department at Raytheon Corp. in Andover for many years. Earlier in her career, she was employed as a service girl by Lowell Dress Company.

In her free time she enjoyed dining out.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Fred Ayotte of Hampton, NH; two sons and a daughter-in-law Normand St. Marie of Dracut, and Gary and Barbara St. Marie of Hooksett, NH; a granddaughter Sara Sheran; three great grandchildren Alea Kenney, and Zack and Alex Sheran; a sister Barbara Trudel of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also the grandmother of the late Gary Kenney; and sister of the late Lillian "Maggie" Deschenes, Doris Plaisant, and Clarence, Raymond, Willis, Roland, and Edward Allard.

Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home on Friday at 10:30 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:30 AM at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Dracut. Burial in Tyngsboro Memorial Cemetery. Those who wish may make donations in her name to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
