David R. Ormerod, 68, of Westport Harbor, formerly of Swansea passed away Monday, May 26, 2008 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Rachel P. (Goyette) Ormerod.
Born in Fall River, he was son of the late Charles V. and Constance M. (Jack) Ormerod. Mr. Ormerod served in the U.S. Navy and was a self-employed millwright.
Including his wife, survivors include a daughter: Susan E. Gabriel and her husband Jorge R. of Westport; a grandson: Jonathan O. Gabriel of Westport; and several nieces and nephews.
He was brother of the late Charles V. Ormerod, Jr.
