PETERBOROUGH, N.H. — Karin W. Akin, 64, of New London, New Hampshire, passed away at Harborside Pheasantwood Nursing Home in Peterborough, New Hampshire on April 11, 2008. She was originally from Boston, Massachusetts.
She is survived by her son, Thomas W. Akin of Brooklyn, New York and sister Mary A. Horton of Fairfax, Virginia.
A memorial service will be held at Kearsarge Community Presbyterian Church, 82 King Hill Road, New London, New Hampshire on Thursday, May 29, 2008, at 11:00 AM with a reception to follow. There will be a private family service the following day in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
