Beloved father of Joyce Annese of Whitman, Barbara Barchard and her husband Bernard of Reading, John Annese of Revere and the late Henry L. "Buster" Annese, Jr. Loving brother of Anthony Annese of Saugus, Joseph Annese of Nevada, Patricia Piotti of Chelsea and the late Eleanor Berardino, Mary, Anna, Peter and Louis Annese. Cherished grandfather of Henry L. Annese III, Gregory and Scott Barchard and Jason Annese. Great grandfather of Henry L. Annese IV. Also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and his cat "Foxy". At his request, funeral services and interment are private. A lifelong resident of Chelsea and a member of the Chelsea business community, Henry at 81 years of age, passed away at his home Saturday afternoon, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with prostate cancer.
A Navy Veteran of World War II, Henry was the owner of Annese Equipment, Metropolitan Signal, as well as, Thomas Fuel. He was a proud member of the 100 Club of Massachusetts, the 5-2 Club, Merritt Club and IBEW Local 4. Henry, for many years joined many of his friends in the annual trip to Florida for the Chelsea Grand Reunion.
