Shirley A. Luzzo, 73 of Medford, died Thursday after a long illness in the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA.
Born in Boston, she lived in Medford since 1967 and was formerly of the North End of Boston. Shirley was the daughter of the late Rose (Neri) and Joseph Camuso. She was a Teacher’s Aid, with the Boston School Department for 7 years and retired 22 years ago. Beloved wife of Bruno Luzzo. Devoted mother of Frank Luzzo and his wife Tillie of Woburn, Robert Luzzo and his wife Virginia, Ricky Luzzo all of Medford. Loving grandmother of Michael, Stephen, Robert Jr., Joseph and Derek. Sister of Olga Pacione of Newton, Gloria Pizzarella of the North End of Boston, Jean Cipriani of Medford, Joseph Camuso of Las Vegas, Loretta Camuso of Arlington, and the late Dorothy Spataro. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
