Funeral services for Myrtle L. Ellerbee, 81 of Ashburn, GA. will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Perry Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at 4:00 PM in the North Atlanta Memorial Park Cemetery in Doraville, GA. Mrs. Ellerbee passed away Thursday at Magnolia Manor in Americus, GA.
The daughter of the late Lon Franklin and Charliein Morgan Loyd she was born in DeKalb Co., GA. She was retired as a quality control clerk at Simplicity Pattern Co. in Douglasville, GA. She attended Harmony Baptist Church in Turner Co. She was preceded in death by her husband Hurbert “Hub” Ellerbee in 1999.
Survivors include her brothers William A. Loyd of Unadilla, GA. and James H. Loyd of Arcaid, GA.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
