James Howard `Hoss` Norfleet, Sr., 56, Clarksville, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at Montgomery County Care and Rehab Center. The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. Byron Dumas officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born June 6, 1951 in Clarksville, TN, son of Marvin Percy Norfleet and Eunice Rodgers Norfleet. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his mother, a son, James Howard Norfleet, Jr, three daughters, Tiffany Annette Norfleet, Rebekah Elizabeth Norfleet, and Meghan Sara Norfleet, the mother of his children, Barbette Norfleet, all of Clarksville; four brothers, Marvin Perry Norfleet, II, Nashville; Kenneth Wayne Norfleet, Smyrna, TN; Steven Ray Norfleet and John Michael Norfleet, both of Clarksville; and a sister, Brenda Kay Martelli, Clarksville.
