Doris M. Ethridge, 72, of Chestnut St., Manchester, NH died Saturday March 1, 2003 in the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester. Mrs. Ethridge was born in Lowell, Ma, on June 1, 1930 the daughter of the late Roy and Blanche (Roy) Silloway. She was raised in Pelham, NH and had moved to Londonderry, NH in 1963 where she lived for 35 years. She was a founding member of the L.A.F.A. (Londonderry Athletic and Field Assoc.). Mrs. Ethridge also held memberships in the Londonderry Country Club and the DECCA bowling league in Derry. She enjoyed gardening and loved her pets.
She is survived by two daughters, Marie Macomber, Center Barnstead, NH, Linda Auciello, Hill, NH, two sons, Richard Morrissette, Thomas Ethridge both of Londonderry, one stepdaughter, Kathy Roy, Londonderry, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Horace “Tex” Ethridge in 1990.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday evening March 4th from 7-9pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Cremation will follow. Graveside services will be held in the Spring in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Londonderry.
