WEBSTER - Walter F. “Walt” Niemiec, 73, of Harris St., died Monday, May 19, in Saint Vincent’s Hospital, Worcester.
He leaves his daughter, Tammy and her husband Chris Todd of Dayton, Ohio; a brother, Richard J. and his wife Judith Niemiec of Dudley; and a granddaughter, Amber Nicole Polk of Ohio.
He was born and raised in Webster a son of Walter F. & Helen P. (Pasay) Niemiec. He was a graduate of Bartlett High School. He lived in Ohio for a number of years before returning to Webster.
Mr. Niemiec worked as a sales engineer for Kodak and previously worked at Meade Digital, both in Ohio. He was a veteran of the Air Force. He was an avid golfer.
The funeral will be held Friday, May 23, at 8:00 PM in Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, May 23, in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. .
