LEICESTER-Dan “Dozer Dan” Ferver, 52, of 220 Paxton Street, died Saturday, May 17th in UMASS Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
He leaves his wife of 15 years best friend and soulmate for 17 years, Sandra L. (Butnes) Ferver; his beloved boy, Gage E. Bard, to whom he was "Daddy Dan" of Leicester; his mother and father-in-law, Stanley and Carol (Canane) Butnes of Auburn; closest family friends, Dave and Bob and many extended family members.
Mr. Ferver was born in Warren, PA the son of George and Thelma (Kendell) Ferver. He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and graduated from Warren County Memorial High School. Mr. Ferver worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Callahan Construction in West Bridgewater and previously worked for McManus Construction.
Following cremation, all services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Scott Muncy Scholarship Fund for Gage Bard, c/o Country Bank of Leicester, 1084 Main Street, Leicester, MA 01524 or to a charity of one’s choice.
