Jeanette R. (Duguay) Turcotte, age 93, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died Friday, May 16 at a local healthcare facility in Lowell. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Robert E. Turcotte, Sr.
She was born in Manchester, NH, Oct. 23, 1914, the daughter of the late Edward and Rose (Rousseau) Duguay.
Mrs. Turcotte was an active community member and involved in the Friends of St. Joseph Hospital.
She and her husband were residents of Rogers Hall for twenty five years. They greatly enjoyed wintering in Florida and trips to Canada with friends and family.
Mrs. Turcotte was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, , Robert E. Turcotte, Jr. and Michele (Landry) Turcotte of Tewksbury, and Ronald P. and Ellen (Tompkins) Turcotte of Twin Mt., NH; she is also survived by three grandchildren, Jeffrey Turcotte of New York City, Nicole Nolan and her husband Gary of Chelmsford, and Mark Turcotte and his wife Amanda Thompson Turcotte of New York; five great grandchildren, Rose and Esme Thompson Turcotte and Paige, Norah and Thomas Nolan; also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters and a brother.
There will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Thursday morning, May 22 at 10 o'clock at St. Rita Church, Lowell. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the D'Youville Foundation, 981 Varnum Ave., Lowell, MA 01854.
