Ann C. (Claflin) Trecarichi, 79, of Abington, died Tuesday, May 13th in the South Shore Hospital, after a period of failing health. She was the beloved wife of Francis J. Trecarichi of Abington. Ann was born and brought up in Weymouth .a graduate of Weymouth High School. She was the daughter of the late Harlan and Madelin (Mea) Clafin.
Ann was a resident of Abington for more than 40 years, a committed Christian, member of the Flame of Fire Church in Abington and a former member of the Abington Mother’s Club. She was employed at Filene’s cosmetics department for 10 years .Ann loved to make ceramics and loved animals. She and her husband adopted a greyhound, sometime ago and the greyhound is now 12 years old.
She is survived by her husband Francis J. Trecarichi of Abington, her son Joseph Trecarichi of Bridgewater and her 2 granddaughters Grace and Priscilla Trecarichi both of Bridgewater. She was the sister of the late Robert Clafin.
Her services will be held Monday may 19th at 10:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rt 58 at the Rotary circle) Whitman, MA. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts V.A .National Cemetery in Bourne MA. at 12:30PM.Visitation will be held Sunday may 18th 5-8PM.Donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer Assoc./MA, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA. 02472 or www.alzmass.org
