DERRY: Dorothy R. (Briere) Rose, 75, died Saturday, May 10, 2008 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA. Mrs. Rose was born in New York, NY on July 28, 1932, a daughter of the late Maurice and Marie (Bono) Briere. Mrs. Rose has been a Derry resident for the last 35 years after moving from Merrimack, NH, and had worked as a clerical administrator at Parkland Medical Center in Derry until her retirement in 1989.
Mrs. Rose is survived by her husband Arthur Rose of Derry; two sons, Christopher P. Rose of Nashua, NH, Robert A. Rose of El Segundo, CA; two daughters, Victoria A. Carter of Derry and Marianne C. O’Neill and her husband Brian of Lyndeborough, NH; two brothers, Steve Briere of Maine and Robert Briere of New Boston, NH, a sister, Joan Steele of Boca Raton, FL, 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held Saturday, May 17th from 12-2 PM at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street in Derry. Funeral services followed in the funeral home at 2 PM. Burial will be in the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen at the family's convenience.
