Obituary

Beatrice L. Von KahleShe was born in Lewiston, Maine, June 4, 1916, a daughter of the late Edward and Annie (Fogg)Harney. She was raised along the seaboard in the Northeast, as her father worked as aLongshoreman. She settled in Tewksbury, where she lived for 20 years, and then moved toLowell, where she lived for the past 22 years.

In her earlier years, she was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary D.A.V. Post 113 in Burlington,Mass.

As a resident of Tewksbury, she attended St. William’s and as a member of Lowell’s Belvedere,she was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church.

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Beatrice and her husband James Blute ofAuburn, NH, and Annie O. Pratt of Lowell, two sons and daughters-in-law, Kermit L “Junior “and his wife Isadore Von Kahle of Portland, ME, and A. “Al” and his wife Beatrice Von Kahle ofManchester, NH, several grand, great grand, and great great grandchildren.

She was the last surviving daughter of six children.

Her Funeral Mass was held Saturday, Mar. 1, in St. William’s Church. Following cremation, interment will beprivate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of donor’s choice will be appreciated.
