Obituary

Kenneth Alfred Fitch of Carver died on May 4, 2008 at the age of 62. He was the husband of Joanne(Hixon)Fitch of Carver. Father of Kurt M. Fitch and his wife Teresa of Middleboro and Kate(Fitch) McDougle of Washington.Brother of Marjorie Dewing of Hanson and Barbara Crooker of Pembroke. He is also survived by his grandchildren Casey and Seth. Kenneth was born in Weymouth to the late Alfred and Marion(Whitaker) Fitch. He was raised and educated in Braintree, lived in Plympton before moving to Carver in 2001. He was a uinion electrician and a member of IBEW Local 103, retiring 4 years ago. Kenneth was in the USMC as a sergeant and was on the elite Silent Drill Team in D.C..He was a member of the Upland Sprotsman's Club in Plympton and was a member of the Carver Historical Society. He also enjoyed art, hunting, drag racing and calligraphy. He will be missed for his sense of humor and was loved by all his family and friends. Calling Hours will be held on Friday May 9, 2008 from 4-8 at the Shepherd Funeral Home 116 Main Street (rte.58) Carver, Ma. All other services will be private.
