Erlinda Boyles Espiritu, 63, of Malden, passed away at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston on May 2nd, 2008. She was born and raised in the Philippines and has been a resident of Malden for the past 12 years. Erlinda worked as a clerk at Brookline Bank and was formerly employed by Bank of America. She also worked as an Assembler at Boston Scientific in Watertown. She enjoyed gardening and was member of the Philippine Apostolate Choir Group at St. Josephs Church in Malden. She is survived by her husband Emilio Espiritu; her children Emily Zarcilla and her husband Leonardo of the Philippines, Edna Espiritu of Malden, Emilio Espiritu Jr. of Malden, Eleonor Halsdorff and her husband Jeremy of Malden and Emmanuel Espiritu of Malden; her brother Celestino Boyles of the Philippines; and by her grandchildren Ella, Elaine, Lawrence, Eugene, Leah, JJ and Kacey. Relatives & friends are invited to attend funeral services from the A.J. Breslin & Son Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden at Medford line on Friday May 9th at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Josephs Church, 790 Salem St., Malden at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday May 8th from 4-8 PM.
