Engelhardt, Ellen A. (Keating) of Marshfield, May 5, at the age of 87. Wife of the late John W. Engelhardt. Loving mother of Daniel T. Engelhardt of E. Bridgewater, John M. Engelhardt of Marshfield and Trooper Ellen E. Engelhardt M.S.P. of Marion. Dear grandmother of Laura Tedeman. Great grandmother of Dylan Greeley. Sister of the late Brendan Keating, the late Timothy Keating and the late Edna Higgins.
Born in Boston Ellen graduated from MT. Saint Joseph Academy. She was a former employee for the Department of Defense at the Navy shipyard during WW II working on Sonar. Ellen summered in Marshfield before becoming a permanent resident 34 years ago.
Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean St (Rte 139) Marshfield Friday at 8:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St Christine’s Church 1295 Main St Rte 3A Marshfield at 9:00 am.
Visiting hours Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
Interment will be in the MA. National Cemetery, Bourne, MA
