WORCESTER-Dorothy J. (Warren) Nelson, 50, passed away Friday, May 2.
She leaves her husband, Leon Nelson of New Haven, CT; seven children, Mary Warren Boodie of Greenwood, SC, Howard Conerly of Worcester, Victoria Conerly of San Antonio, TX, Alkeia Conerly of Worcester, Alicia Daniels of Worcester, Hao Warren of Worcester and Maria Warren of Worcester; her brother, Lloyd Anthony of Louisiana; two sisters, Joyce Warren of Washington and Debra Warren of Worcester; six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was born in Franklinton, LA the daughter of Jackson and Mary Lee (Shanks) Warren. Dorothy worked as a social worker and was a Foster Mother for many years.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday, May 6 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. A Funeral Service will be Wednesday, May 7 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.
