Frances P. (Cartolano) Falino, of Medford, died Thursday at Melrose Wakefield Hospital. She was 80.
Frances was born and raised in the West End, the daughter of the late Rosario and the late Rose (Russo) Cartolano. A Medford resident for the past 20 years, she was a dedicated and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She shared in raising her grandchildren and was closely connected to al the generations of her family.
She was the beloved wife of Pasquale “Pat” Falino. She was the devoted mother of Rosanne Gray and her husband Al of Dracut, Patricia Misuraca and her husband Joseph of Medford, Joyce Obal and her husband Billy of Tewksbury. She was the loving grandmother of Tara, Lisa, Danielle, and the late Derek. She was a loving great-grandmother of Michael, Alex, Isabelle, Jani, Sydney and JD. She was the dear sister of Jennie and Frank Cartolano, the late Virginia Joyce, Mary Piscatelli and Domenic Cartolano and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.
