Theodore P. Iwanowski Jr.

TEWKSBURY- Theodore P. Iwanowski Jr.,age72, a longtime Tewksbury resident, died
peacefully at Brigham and Womens Hospital on Saturday morning May 3rd. He was the husband
of Louise (Stack) Iwanowski with whom he celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary this past
January 14th. Theodore was born in Boston on October 24, 1935 a son of the late Eileen (Hurley)
and Theodore P. Iwanowski Sr. He was raised in Wilmington and attended Wilmington High.
After high school he worked as a lineman at New England Power Service Co. a division of Mass
Electric for 19 years. Theodore retired from working in maintenance at Wang. Visiting with his
grandchildren was his greatest joy. He stayed with his wife in Cape Coral, Florida for the past
two winters. He was always known for his handyman skills and tinkering with everything. He
was a fan of Nascar racing and classic cars like his 68 Olds Convertible.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son Theodore P. Iwanowski III and his wife Leslie of New
Hampshire, two daughters Cheryl and her husband Marty McLain of Virginia, and Eileen
Iwanowski of Florida. A sister Marlene Robertson of Florida. An aunt Mary Campbell of
Tewksbury. Nine grandchildren Scott, Brian, Kristen, and Kelley McLain, Sara and Meagan
Iwanowski, Jason Erika and Amanda Vasquez. A great grandchild Cameron Viner.. He is also
survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins including the Godfrey family. He was the brother-in-law of the late Al Robertson.
His Funeral Mass was held Wednesday May 7,in St.Dorothy's Church. Wilmington. Burial was in Tewksbury
Cemetery. Memorials may be made in his name to the Saints Foundation 155 Merrimack St. P.O Box
