Manchester– Ronald F. Jacques, 63, died May 1, 2008 at Catholic Medical Center following a sudden illness.
He was born in Troy, VT. on May 23, 1944 the son of Rosaire G. and Jane (Truskowski) Jacques.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was stationed on the U.S.S. Enterprise.
He was a member of American Legion Post 79.
He graduated from N.H. Barber College.
He was an avid Yankees fan.
He owned and operated the Ultimate Man, and later The Barber Shop for 27 years which he co owned with his daughter Kristen Robert.
Family members include his wife Cheryl (Sanborn) Jacques, of Manchester, 3 daughters, Cheryl St. Onge, Rhonda Jordan, Kristen Robert, all of Manchester, 2 brothers George Jacques, of Colebrook, Richard Jacques, of Ware MA., 1 sister Rosalie Chrzan, of Londonderry, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In His Life: He leaves 4 grandchildren, Nicole Thurber, Joshua Muszinski, Brooke Robert, and Maxwell Robert, all of Manchester.
A memorial reception will take place Sunday from 2 to 5 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home 110 Bridge St.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
