Ann V. (Jackson) Kane, 77, of Fort Pierce, Florida died on Wednesday April 30, 2008 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Kane who passed away on December 7, 2002.
Born in Taunton, MA on August 28, 1930 she was a daughter of the late David F. Jackson, Sr. and Thelma (Nickerson) Jackson.
Ann grew up in Greenfield, MA and was educated Greenfield schools. Mrs. Jackson had worked for the International Telephone and Telegraph Co. in New Jersey, after 35 years of faithful service she retired as the Executive Assistant to the company’s president.
She had made her home in Florida for the past 6 years and was formerly of Westwood,New Jersey and Mansfield
She was the sister of the late David F. Jackson, Jr. who passed away in 2002 and was the aunt of the late David C. Jackson who passed away in 2001. Surviving is her sister in law Hilda A. (Bernardo) Jackson of Hingham as well as many cousins.
Her funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Friday May 16th at 10:30 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mansfield.
Visitation will be held prior to the funeral Mass on Friday morning beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home 55 North Main St. Mansfield.
