Mrs. Frances Amico, age 90 of Medford MA, died Tuesday following a lengthy illness in the Life Care Center Of Stoneham. Beloved wife of the late Michael Amico. Born in Boston, Daughter of the late Salvatore and Catherine (Puzzo) Coniglio, she was educated in local schools.
In earlier years she worked as a stitcher, employed in the garment industry. A loving family minded individual, she enjoyed cooking, playing cards, bingo and occasional trips to Foxwoods.
She is the loving mother of Angela Cintron and her husband Alex of Medford. Dear mother in law of Mary Amico of Medford, wife of the late Michael Amico. Mother of the late Elaine Amico. Step mother of Charles and Joseph Amico. Beloved grandmother of John Byers, Philip Byers, Danielle Byers, Michelle Kenney and Michael Amico Jr. Great grandmother of 4 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Phillip and Joseph Coniglio, Nellie Izzo, Mary Fama, Margaret Veneziano, Lena Sannizzaro, Rose Bombara and Helen Doucette. Funeral from Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 9 am. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 10 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 pm. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Frances’ name may be sent to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA
