Josephine J. (LaComfora) Knox, of 15 Longview St., died Sunday, February 23, in the University of Massachusetts-Memorial Medical Center, Lake Ave. Campus, Worcester, after an illness.
Her husband, Robert P. Knox Sr., died in 1976. She leaves a son, Robert P. Knox Jr., of West Boylston and a daughter, Pamela Knox-Chapman of Holden; a brother, Jerry LaComfora of West Boylston; two sisters Eva Rand of West Boylston and Angeline Perna of Shrewsbury; two granddaughters Brittany Chapman and Amanda Chapman both of Holden and several nephews and nieces. Two brothers Frank LaComfora and Paul LaComfora and two sisters Josephine LaComfora and Mary Fancy predeceased her. She was born in West Boylston, daughter of Rocco and Dora (Detranto) LaComfora. She graduated from West Boylston High School.
A Funeral will be held Thursday (Feb.27) at 11a.m. in Fay Brothers Funeral Home 1 West Boylston St. (www.faybrothers.com). Burial will be in the Spring in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
