Joan Ann Tamashunas, 58, of Hudson, died Saturday, April 19 at her residence.
Born and raised in Hudson, daughter of the late John and Mary (Guard) Tamashunas, she attended local schools and was a 1968 graduate of Hudson Catholic H.S. She attended Worcester Trade School for 2 years and received her cosmetology license. She was a self employed hairdresser for many years locally.
She is survived by her 3 sisters, Mary M. Tamashunas of Hudson, Patricia Vrobel of Salisbury and Cynthia Lak and husband Ron of Gastonia, NC. She is also survived by her 2 nephews, Jeffrey Lak and wife Sarah of Charlotte, NC, Nicholas Lak and wife Angela of Gastonia, NC; her great nephew, Taner Lak of Gastonia, NC and her good friend and honorary sister, Patricia O’Coin of Clinton.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 3, at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Hudson. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of: Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749
