Wendie A. (Sweeney) Vazquez, age 50, died unexpectedly on Sunday April 6. She was the wife of Damian Vazquez.
Born in Boston, July 18, 1957 daughter of Joseph Sweeney of Florida and Dorothy Lutan of East Boston.
Mrs. Vazquez resided in Lowell and was previously employed as a driver with the Lowell Regional Transit Authority.
Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Elisa and Gary Metcalfe of New Brunswick, Canada and April and Chris DiPrima of Methuen; two grandchildren, Emilie and Abigail Metcalfe of New Brunswick, Canada; one sister Bonnie Sweeney of Milford, MA; one brother, Shawn Sweeney, of Milford, MA ; also several nieces and nephews.
At the request of the family, all services were held privately.
