FALL RIVER … Leona M. (Ryan) Jones, 66, of Fall River formerly of Brockton, died unexpectedly at home April 21, 2008.
She was the widow of Robert Jones.
She was born in Somerville, MA a daughter of the late Edward F. and Mary C. (Lockwood) Ryan and had lived in Fall River since 2005.
She worked for the Salvation Army of Brockton.
Mrs. Jones enjoyed doing crafts.
Survivors include a sister Joan DiClemente of Bedford, MA, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Funeral Mass to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday at 11AM at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, 529 Eastern Ave., Fall River, MA. Interment in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton, MA. There will be no calling hours at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to St. Vincent’s Home, Emergency Clothing Fund, c/o Melissa Dick, 2425 Highland Ave., Fall River, MA 02720.
