Obituary

HAMILTON - David A. King, 18, of Hamilton, died Sunday afternoon, April 20, 2008, at the New England Medical Center, Boston following a long illness.

Born on Salem, he was the son of Robert W. & Wanda (Mikulewicz) King, of Hamilton.

David was a graduate of Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School in the class of 2007, and was the recipient of the 2007 Hamilton-Wenham Regional Prize for courage, perseverance in the face of adversity and genuine caring for others. At the school, he was active with the theater productions as a member of the sound crew. He was a parishioner of the Church of St. Paul in Hamilton.

As a natural athlete, David enjoyed soccer, lacrosse, golfing, snowboarding & paint ball; he also loved driving, listening to music and being a DJ, collecting knives, cooking, computer art, camping, striper fishing, archery, going to the movies, and being with his family and his cats. David was always honest, unfailingly optimistic, and never missed an opportunity to tell someone that he loved them. He never complained and he was an angel on earth. He lived his life by the following belief: "To love, honor and respect everyone as equals, is to live."

Besides his parents, David is survived by 4 sisters and a brother-in-law, Angela King, Teresa King, Caroline King, all of Hamilton, Stefanie King & her husband, Jonathon Drake of Rochester, NH, and several aunts, uncles & cousins.
