William Zachary "Zach" Kirk, infant son of Kyle Michael and Jessica Brim Kirk of Watkinsville, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2008, in Athens. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 21, 2008, at Beech Haven Baptist Church in Athens. Rev. Bill Ricketts will officiate. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Tifton with burial to follow. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 20, 2008, at Bernstein Funeral Home in Athens and on Monday evening after 6:00 p.m., April 21, 2008, at the home of Bill and Deborah Brim, 25 Sandhammock Lake Road, in Tifton.
In addition to his parents, Zach is survived by his sister, Maddie Grace Kirk of Watkinsville; his maternal grandparents, Bill and Deborah Brim of Tifton; his paternal grandparents, Lee and Esther Kirk of Monroe; his aunt and uncle, Dr. and Mrs. Dan Rackley; and his uncle Brandon Kirk.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the March of Dimes, Northeast Georgia Division, 2955 Horizon Park D., Suite B, Suwanee, GA 30024.
