James Lawrence`Jimmy`King.Jr., 78, Cunningham, died Friday, April 18, 2008, at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 11am Thursday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Phillip King officiating. Visitation will be from 9am till the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home. The remains are to be cremated. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born Jan. 12,1930 in Cheatam County son James Lawrence King, Sr. and Cecil Denny King. He was preceded in death by his parents and son James Denny King. He was a Navy veteran having served during the Korean conflict. He was a methodist. He was a Pro Bass Fisherman and loved to fish and hunt. He was a retired barber. He is survived by his wife Kathryn King of Cunningham, one son Phillip(Angela)King of Memphis, two daughters Linda(Johnny)Oliver of Ft. Campbell,Ky. and Cathy Close of Springfield, one brother Dudley King of Nashville several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
