Obituary

Linda Rae (Suckney) Klein, of Chelsea & formerly of Swampscott, beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend, died April 16, 2008 at Cambridge Hospital. She was 63 years old. Born in Boston, the daughter of the late Jacob & May (Segal) Suckney, Linda was raised in Chelsea where she attended school & graduated from Chelsea High School. Linda also lived in California for a number of years where she graduated from Santa Monica City College. Devoted to son Michael of Swampscott & Peabody, and sister to Arthur A.Suckney of Peabody, Linda's passing is deeply felt by them and her other family members: sister-in-law Margo (Ribeck), niece Jennie (Suckney) Blecher and husband Todd Blecher of Glenview, IL, and nephew Randy Suckney. She is also mourned by best friends Kenny Isaacs, Mark Wolper, Gerry Udler, Henry Nazzaro, husband of the late Sandra Nazzaro, Judy Bloch, Adrien Abrams, Stevie Zideman, Steven Bluestein. A retired Santa Monica, CA parole officer Linda brought joy to all who knew her. For many years she lived in Venice Beach, CA. She enjoyed going to Moheghan Sun, visiting with her close friends, and collecting Kennedy memorabilia. She was a member of the committee to elect Robert Kennedy president.

Funeral service in the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave. (Cary Sq) CHELSEA on Monday, April 21 at 1:00 p.m. Rabbi Karen Landy of Cong. Havurat Shalom in Andover will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mishna Cemetery, Fuller St. Everett. In lieu of flowers, Linda's family requests that donations be made to the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home (www.cjnh.org) or the National Kidney Foundation (www.kidney.org).
