Emilia Franciosi, 102 of Medford, died Tuesday after a brief illness in the Glen Ridge Nursing Care, Medford, MA.
Born in Italy, she has lived in Medford for the past 60 years and was the daughter of the late Bambina (LoStracco) and Domenico DeSantis. Beloved wife of the late John Franciosi. Devoted mother of Marylou Giordano of New Hampshire. Sister of Luisa Ventresca of Italy and the late Ida DiCenso, Antonio, Michael, and Camillo DeSantis. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 8:30 to 9:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
