Robert H. Zorn, 73, a longtime resident of Dedham, died Friday, April 11, at his home. He was the husband of the late Joyce (Keppler) Zorn. Born in Hyde Park, he was raised there and was a graduate of Hyde Park High School. He was a Veteran of the US Army. Mr. Zorn worked as a Lieutenant for the Norfolk County Sheriffs Department at the Dedham House of Correction in Dedham for many years. Mr. Zorn was a resident of Linden Ponds in Hingham for the past 3 years. Prior to that, he lived in Dedham for over 30 years. He was a member of the Blue Knights.
He is survived by his son, Douglas E. Zorn and his wife Deborah of Stoughton. He was the brother of Corrine Leavitt of Dedham and Ruth Carpeno of N. Attleboro. He is also survived by his grandchildren Chelsea and Stephen Zorn.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, April 15 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 5-8 PM. Donations in Robert’s name may be made to Joslin Diabetes Clinic, 1 Joslin Pl., Boston, 02215. Burial will be private.
