William G. Forbes, 51

William G. Forbes, 51, of Middleboro formerly of Mansfield died peacefully on Thursday April 10, 2008 at the Neuro Rehabilitation Center in Middleboro.
Born in Brockton, MA on November 20, 1956 he was a loving son of Ruth C. (Murphy) Forbes of Mansfield and the late Harold B. Forbes.
Bill grew up in Mansfield and was a 1975 graduate of Mansfield High School. He furthered his studies and graduated from Greenfield Community College and from Fitchburg State College.
When younger he was a member of Operation Friendship in Mansfield and had the pleasure of living with families in Scotland and Ireland as well as serving as a host to foreign guests in Mansfield.
He attended the Orthodox Congregational Church in Mansfield. A talented photographer, Bill had a remarkable way of showing good will to others. His family would like to thank the staff at the Neuro Rehabilitation Center for providing him over 15 years of comfortable living and for all the love and kindness shown.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his sister Sarah C. Forbes of Mansfield, 2 cousins; Robert Forbes of Staten Island, New York and Priscilla Fugazzi of Brick, New Jersey, also survived by his friends and caregivers.
Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Sunday April 13th from 2-4 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral home 55 North Main St. Mansfield.
Services will immediately follow at the conclusion of visitation at 4:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Private burial will be at a later date in the Spring Brook Cemetery, Mansfield.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the activities fund at the Neuro Rehabilitation Center 23 Isaac St. Middleboro, MA 02346.
