Obituary

Mildred C. "Sally" (Cushing) Kennedy, 73, of 20 George Road, Franklin, died suddenly at her home on Monday, April 7, 2008. She was the wife of Paul A. Kennedy.

Born in Boston, December 28, 1934, a daughter of the late Robert and Katherine (Erdhardt) Cushing, she lived in Franklin for more than 43 years. She was raised and educated in Milton, and was a 1952 graduate of Milton High School.

Until her retirement several years ago, Mrs. Kennedy was employed as a school bus driver for the Walter T. Holmes Bus Co. in Franklin.

She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Franklin, and was a member of the AARP, and Red Sox Nation. She delighted in the althletic achievements of her children and grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 49 years are 3 sons: Kevin M. Kennedy and his wife Amy of Ashland, Robert W. Kennedy and his wife Kathy of Salt Lake City, Utah, Brian P. Kennedy of Los Angeles, a daughter Patraicia K. Padula and her husband Domenic of Medway, and four grandchildren: Ryan, Travis, Caelin & Camryn.

She was also the sister of the late Virginia McNeil.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Friday at 7:45 AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage Street, www.franklinfuneral.com with a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Franklin, at 8:30 AM. Interment will follow at the Mass. National Cemetery in Bourne at 11:00 AM.
