Irene B. O’Brien, 87, of Manchester, died February 20, 2003, at Elliot Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born in Manchester, June 29, 1915, she was the daughter of Joseph and Odila (Delisle) Tardiff. She was a lifelong resident of this city.
Mrs. O’Brien was a registered nurse.
She was a communicant of St. Catherine Church.
She was predeceased by her husband Edward N. O’Brien Sr., in 1975, and by a son, Robert A. O’Brien, in 2001.
Family members include 2 sons, Edward N. O’Brien Jr. of Manchester, and Russell P. O’Brien of Las Vegas, Nevada; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Ida Dionne of Nashua, and Alice Trudel of Manchester; nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday February 24, 2003 in St. Catherine Church. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
