Helen T. (Nelson) Kelly, of Reading formerly of Medford, passed away on Monday April 7, 2008 at the Winchester Hospital.
Born in Boston, Helen was a resident of Medford and Reading for many years. She was the daughter of the late Merrill Nelson and Nora (Foley) Nelson.
Helen was the beloved wife of the late John T. Kelly Sr. She was the cherished mother of John Jr. “Jack” Kelly and his wife Joanne (Beck) of Wakefield, Deborah Woelflein and her husband John Woelflein III of Nashua N.H. Dr. Laurence Kelly of Bedford N.H., and Susan Lundstrom and her husband John of N. Reading. Loving grandmother of Jessica Neilsen and her husband Brent of CollinsvilleCT., Lisa Kelly of Revere, John Woelflein IV of N.H., Laura Woelflein of Torrington CT, Beth James and her husband Ross of Suffield CT., Sean and Laurence Kelly both of Bedford N.H.
Funeral from the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Thursday at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Helen’s Life in St. Athanasius Church 300 Haverhill St. Reading at 9am.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8pm. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery Medford.
